Bio

Nina Koscica is an architectural designer from Long Island, New York with a lifelong passion for fine arts. She obtained a Bachelor’s of Architecture in 2021 from Cornell University, where she graduated on the Dean’s List and defended her thesis, “Suburban Ennui: Too Blessed to Be Depressed,” in which she studied how the ebbs and flows of popular culture influence architecture, urbanism, and policy in the American post WWII landscape. During her undergraduate years, she interned at both large and small firms, working on projects ranging from international skyscraper developments to experimental augmented reality research for building installations.

Nina went on to pursue the educational role of Teaching Associate at Cornell AAP for a year, where she instructed students in the summer program and freshman architecture studios, in addition to assisting with the admissions process for the Bachelor of Architecture program. Since then, she has worked as an architectural designer in New York City on bespoke luxury residential and commercial projects with the boutique firm CU—A, in addition to freelance design work on her own time. All the while, Nina has been pursuing her passion for design education with Munay Prep as a portfolio and visual representation mentor and instructor.
